As a tautological piece, "Transfer" is an installation that provides a critical view of Bertrand Lamarche’s own works. Comprising an overhead projector and a green backcloth, traditionally used for video incrustation, the mechanism consists of pasting different objects of interest to Bertrand Lamarche onto one stage.

The drawings use models that are emblematic of his works: such as Kate Bush, an Umbelliferous plant, architecture, and a vortex. !

The installation builds a collage, that expresses the way he creates, and the combinative process of his work. Used as patterns, they are literally superimposed one upon another, as echoes of the way he has buit his work for nearly twenty years. In a cyclic way, he has confronted the same feature in different ways to write his own mythology.
